Homeless man on California Beach gets Tazed for having an oversize beach umbrella

YouTube video. Here is the comment by the individual who posted the video. I will make a few comments after.

No one called the police. They just showed up and decided to write him a ticket that they knew full well wouldn't stick. He had an umbrella and a chair at the beach so they decided he shouldn't have those things. It really is as simple as that. Millions of other beachgoers have the same beach equipment. They don't get tickets. This just illustrates a pattern of abuse by law enforcement in LA. Some of the worst cops in the country. Not only does it show definite profiling, it shows them writing a ticket that they shouldn't. This type of policing is appalling. Then they have at least half a dozen cops there to subdue a situation they created and still use a damn tazer. Are they so incompetent that six police officers are incapable of controlling a man who is doing nothing more than standing up for his rights and is resisting an an unlawful arrest without violence? You know, if it was legal, those cops would have shot him. They don't care about the well being of people. I don't know how Californians put up with it. If I didn't know any better I would think that California is not in the United States. They don't act like it. And what law requires a person sign a ticket?

What a surreal scene. Something right out of a Kubrick movie. My main impression coming away from viewing this is that Americans are seething. This scene and the way the people responded to the police should be a real wake up call for the "leaders" in America. Do the leaders really think the people will follow them into another war...with Russia? The authorities cannot even get respect at the local level. This is what happens in a society that has been devoid of authentic leadership for several decades.
