Labile

al-Sisi's shoe on left, Trump's on Right

This is a post I've been meaning to write for a while...ever since the "beautiful chocolate cake"/Syria bombing incident.  You remember that..when Trump, in an interview immediately following his bombing of Syria...where numerous Syrian soldiers and civilians were killed...lost his focus, momentarily forgot the name of the victim of his illegal and senseless bombing...and, incredibly, zeroed in on the "beautiful" after dinner chocolate cake his Maralago resort served up for his guest...the Chinese President...along with the "entertainment"...the shocking revelation of the potentially world war III-inducing American military aggression.

It got me thinking...there's another word for what Trump did that night...along with the designation I used at the time...non sequitur.  His speech pattern was "labile".  This is a term I became familiar with during my days as a social worker...working with parents and children with developmental disabilities.  Here are some definitions of "labile".

la·bile
ˈlāˌbīl,ˈlābəl/
adjective
technical
  1. liable to change; easily altered.
    • of or characterized by emotions that are easily aroused or freely expressed, and that tend to alter quickly and spontaneously; emotionally unstable.
    • Chemistry
      easily broken down or displaced.

Labile Affect

Labile Affect, also known as Pseudobulbar affect (PBA) or Emotional Incontinence, is a disorder where the patient has excessive displays of emotion, or expresses emotions that are not congruent with the situation. For example, uncontrollable crying over trivial things like accidentally knocking over a glass of water, or laughing hysterically over sad news like hearing about a devastating calamity. This condition results from an underlying neurological disorder, or from brain injury.

******************
I was going to do this post last weekend where there was a story in the New York Times about Trump calling former FBI Director James Comey a "nut job" while talking with Russian Federation Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.  Then Lavrov denied the conversation and, knowing what liars the NYT are, I dropped the topic.

But, just today, in RT. there is yet another instance where Trump displays labile speech patterns.  He was attending a conference of Middle East Leaders a day or so ago...and, while meeting with Egyptian President al-Sisi, ..he suddenly commented about al-Sisi's shoes.  Here's the story from RT and I will have more thoughts in comments to follow:

Trump’s foreign trip: The most bizarre moments so far (VIDEOS)

‘Boy, those shoes’: The President compliments Sisi’s footwear

Abdel Fattah al-Sisi wasn’t prepared for Trump’s reaction to his attempted love-bombing during their meeting in Riyadh.
The Egyptian head of state complimented the US President on his “unique personality that is capable of doing the impossible.”
Not to be outdone, and uninhibited by his seemingly little knowledge of al-Sisi, Trump returned the compliment.
"Love your shoes,” Trump said, as reporters were being taken from the room. “Boy, those shoes. Man ..."

***********************

No wonder Trump's handlers ushered the reporters from the room.  Here was yet another blaring example of embarrassing non sequitur/labile speech pattern.  Why does this matter?  Because it COULD be an example of Trump having cognitive brain issues....or, it could just be a symptom of a developmental issue/social awareness issue.  Whatever.  It could also just be that Trump is woefully ignorant of foreign affairs issues and has no understanding of the crucial role that Egypt's President al-Sisi plays in Middle Eastern Geopolitics.  If so, then that problem was quickly solved when it came time for Egypt's al-Sisi to address the gathering of leaders.  Watch the following video excerpt of al Sisi's speech and pay special attention to the look on Trump's face.

Thanks to Aletho News for the link

Egyptian President al-Sisi names names
of Terrorist Supporter Countries...
But Trump just focuses on his shoes?

In the above snippet from al-Sisi's speech to the stakeholders and leaders in the Middle East, al-Sisi packs in more truth than all the speeches of all the leaders over the past 16 years [with the notable exception of Syrian President Bashar al Assad]!  Al-Sisi says that the supporters of terror are not only the militants but the governments who support them, financially, medically, media wise, equipment/weaponry wise, etc.  He accuses the US and Israel to their faces of being behind the terrorism that has torn the Middle East apart and through unbridled refugee migration, threatens Europe and North America.

No wonder the Western Main$tream Media has given the speech no coverage at all.  That's always been their response to truth bombs.  They would rather obsess in robotic unison about False Flag bombs....which is yet another reason for the Manchester False Flag the other night...to distract from Trump's Middle East Bizarro Business Trip.

What a contrast between Al Sisi's words and Trump's! The whole thing is surreal.

Hi Anonymous:

Thanks for your comment and for providing that important video, which I encourage all readers to view. It does provide a completely different viewpoint on the exchange between al Sisi and Trump. It does seem, however, that the President did, according to several sources, comment on al Sisi's shoes.

On a somewhat related topic...I wonder how those Russian Mistral aircraft carriers, built by France under contract with Russia and which France was subsequently prohibited by the US from giving to Russia (France instead sold them to Egypt) are doing? I understand that Russia is now helping Egypt equip the Mistrals.

Hi James:

Yes, this al Sisi seems to be a lot like another fellow from that region...Turkey's President Erdogan. They seem to be walking a geostrategic tightrope between the USA and Russia.

Reminds me of an interview with Putin
He spoke English, yet they did the translator bit.
I am assuming it is a political game??
More official speaking in your own native tongue
Helping the mistrils
Sounds like the Aphgan game
The silent war with Russia, while all the pawns get to be the psychotic goons
That video showed me no tension between them

Hi Anonymouse

Putin can speak a bit of English and is fully fluent in German. Russian leaders insist that their official business is carried on in Russian. This is because they insist on equality between themselves and other nations. They always do everything tit for tat. Visas and everything. I think it is a wise decision because it is the clearest possible message to USrael that they are NOT the global leaders of a unipolar world.
