Let them Eat..."...The Most Beautiful Piece of Chocolate Cake That You've Ever Seen...."

We had finished dinner, we’re now having dessert,” Trump began. “And we had the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake that you’ve ever seen and President Xi was enjoying it.

In a recent post, I speculated that Donald Trump's foreign policy flip/flop/ decision-making "skills" regarding the "sucker punch" false flag attack on Syria [thus threatening WWIII with Russia] had rendered the United States as "Non Compos Mentis" or "incapable" as the Russians would (and have) said.  Some readers may have thought I was rushing to judgment.  After viewing the above video, however, I think I can rest my case:

Iraq or Syria? Trump recalls dessert perfectly, forgets who he bombed & internet erupts (VIDEO)

From RT

US President Donald Trump revealed he informed Chinese Premier Xi Jinping about the US air strike on a Syrian military base as the pair ate "the most beautiful" chocolate cake. He then mixed up Syria and Iraq – and the internet had a meltdown.

Trump was speaking with Fox Business about the bizarre exchange with Chinese leader during a summit at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

“We had finished dinner, we’re now having dessert,” Trump began. “And we had the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake that you’ve ever seen and President Xi was enjoying it.”
“We’ve just fired 59 missiles, all of which hit by the way, unbelievable, from hundreds of miles away, it’s brilliant, it’s genius, what we have in terms of technology no-one can come close to competing,” he continued.
So I said, we’ve just launched 59 missiles, heading to Iraq,” said the President, seemingly oblivious to his mistake..."

Can you imagine the reaction of the Chinese leader?  He must have been crapping his pants. I don't think President Xi will ever be able to eat chocolate cake again Several disturbing images were brought to my mind.  First, it reminds me of the Tarnak Farm Incident...where Canadians soldiers were attacked (four killed others injured) by American reserve jet fighters [flying wildly off course and in a restricted air zone] over the floodlit Kandahar Airbase in Afghanistan in April, 2002 while the Canadians were doing night time live fire exercises just outside the base, on a nearby abandoned farm.  At the exact moment that Canadian soldiers were ambushed, Canadian politicians were at the US Embassy in Ottawa, raising their glasses in a toast to US/Canadian relations.  Funny how that works.

Secondly, it also reminds me of that infamous quote just prior to the French Revolution....attributed to Queen Marie Antoinette:

"Let them eat cake."

Good post.

I'm not too sure about the accuracy of attribution of the Marie Antoinette quote, but, correctly translated, it should read,"Let them eat brioche". (not cake--brioche was the common breakfast food in France)

The chocolate cake makes one wonder about the ingredients (pizzagate anyone?)

Hi Laskarina:

The Marie Antoinette quote went something like...

"You're Majesty, the People Have No Bread to eat!

"Well, then, Let them Eat Cake!"

In that context her statement is highly arrogant, sarcastic and dismissive of the ordinary people. In the case of Trump's reference to chocolate cake...He talks about filling his piehole with cake...in the same breath that he describes firing 59 missiles at a vulnerable country...in the hopes of killing and maiming and perhaps goading Russia into a reaction [luckily, Putin did NOT attend clown college]...on a cheap and flimsy excuse/false flag.

Trump makes Antoinette's historical flub look like eloquence, by comparison.
