UPDATED: US launches War against Syria...and Russia?!

April 7, 2017 - Update from American Everyman.  US missile strike "ineffective".  Some of the 59 missiles went astray and killed neighbouring villagers...including children. "We needed to destroy the village in order to save it."  (US military quote from the Vietnam era)

Trump’s flip-flop

BREAKING: Trump just struck a #Syrian airbase with 60 tomohawk missiles, Syrian And Russian troops among the casualties. This is the start of WW3.

----Syrian Girl
UPDATE:  Correction: Latest reports are that no Russians were killed.

In a Cataclysmic Attack on World Peace and Justice
The US has just launched war against Syria
in the latest Regime Change Project for Israel

Syria, a secular, multi-religious country, in which Christians are allowed to thrive...is about to be changed into yet another Islamic Terrorist hellhole for Ziofascism.  Tonight the tomahawk missiles are flying over yet another small, vulnerable country...destroying its institutions and infrastructure...all on the basis of vile and evil lies about WMD...where have we heard that canard before?

The Alternative Media and Truth have failed the planet.  Evil has won out.  I will be following this sad story and be updating with the latest news and links on this post.  The picture above being very descriptive and accurate about what is really going on.

May God Help Us All.

First important link is Scott Creighton on AmericanEveryman who makes note that, although Trump said approval for war by Congress was all-important (during the campaign) he did not ask or receive approval for this act of war.

The Saker says that Russia should cancel the upcoming visit of US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to Moscow...DUH!

Robin Westenra at Seemorerocks
"....The attack occurred while Trump was at his Florida estate after a dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping, where they were to discuss what to do about North Korea’s nuclear program and U.S.-China trade disagreements. Traveling to Mar-a-Lago from Washington on Thursday, Trump spoke to reporters aboard Air Force One about Assad, saying “what happened in Syria is a disgrace to humanity. And he’s there, and I guess he’s running things. So something should happen....”
[the usual fig leaf of an excuse for US corporatist, military-industrial mayhem and chaos]

PressTV reports that terrorist groups in Syria and Israel are both rejoicing...another article in PressTV speculates that the "red line crossed in Syria" was the fact that Assad was winning the war against the terrorists.  Amen to that.

James Corbett of CorbettReport.com notes that 100 years ago today, President Wilson lied the US into WWI for the benefit of the banksters.  Corbett warns that the next 24 to 48 hours could decide the future of the world...and "this is no hyperbole".

WeAreChange says that Russia and the US have different answers to the question:  "Was Russia warned about the American attack"--and one of them is lying.  Hmmmmm two guesses on that one.

RT is quoting US Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard on the US Attack on Syria:
It angers and saddens me that President Trump has taken the advice of war hawks and escalated our illegal regime change war to overthrow the Syrian government,” Gabbard said in a statement.

“This escalation is short-sighted and will lead to more dead civilians, more refugees, the strengthening of al-Qaeda and other terrorists, and a possible nuclear war between the United States and Russia.”

It just occurred to me that Trump being away from Washington, DC at Mar-a-Lago, Florida at the time of the attack on Syria is reminiscent of Dubya reading "My Pet Goat" to a class of school children in Florida at the time of the 9/11 attack.  Why would a country attack another--while its "Commander and Chief" was away from the command centre?   Why was Trump reading "My Pet Goat" to Chinese Leader Xi Jinping while the Pentagon was running an "Act of War" surprise assault on Syria?  Did Trump even know it was going to happen?  Most significantly, according to the news report I read...Trump does not have the technological capability of "addressing the nation" at his get-away in Mar-a-Lago.  Say, What?  This strange scenario is certainly going to be the topic of discussion...should, of course, humanity survive the next few hours and days.

First Response from Russia comes from The BRICS Post.:

Russia seeks emergency UNSC session after US bombs Syrian base
April 7, 2017, 6:07 am

"Russia has called for an emergency UN Security Council meeting after US missile strikes against a Syrian airfield killed atleast five Syrian troops and nearly destroyed the base.

“Russia will first of all demand an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council. This can be regarded as an act of aggression on the part of the US against a UN state,” Senator Victor Ozerov, the chairman of the Russian Federation Council’s Committee on Defense and Security, said on Friday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin feels the US strikes are an “aggression” against Syrian sovereignty, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
“President [Vladimir] Putin regards the US attacks on Syria as an aggression against a sovereign state in violation of the norms of international law, and under a trumped-up pretext at that,” Peskov said on Friday morning.
“Putin also sees the attacks on Syria by the US as an attempt to divert the international community’s attention from the numerous casualties among civilians in Iraq,” he added.
US secretary of state Rex Tillerson is due in Moscow on Wednesday.
On Thursday, two US warships fired dozens of cruise missiles from the eastern Mediterranean Sea at the airbase controlled by President Bashar al-Assad’s forces.
US officials said the action was in response to the poison gas attack in a rebel-held area on Tuesday.
The Syrian government has denied it was behind the chemical attack that killed at least 70 people.
Syria “has not, did not and will not” use chemical weapons against Syrian people or even against terrorists, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said on Thursday.
Trump said: “Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad launched a horrible chemical weapons attack on innocent civilians … Tonight I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched.”
“Initial indications are that this strike has severely damaged or destroyed Syrian aircraft and support infrastructure and equipment at Shayrat Airfield, reducing the Syrian government’s ability to deliver chemical weapons,” said Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis.
Moscow and Washington are on opposing sides of the divide in the protracted Syrian civil war. The US backs rebels fighting the Syrian government in Damascus.
In an interview with the New York Times on 26 March last year, Donald Trump said he thought “the approach of fighting Assad and Isis simultaneously was madness, and idiocy”.
“You can’t be fighting two people that are fighting each other, and fighting them together. You have to pick one or the other,” said Trump.
After his election victory, Trump told the Wall Street Journal: “I’ve had an opposite view of many people regarding Syria.”
He also said that if the US attacks Assad “we end up fighting Russia”.
In a stunning about-face, the Trump administration has now decided that they will back regime-change in Syria.
Meanwhile, Syrian rebels have welcomed the US attack while the Syrian government has called it an “aggression” that led to “losses.”
Talal Barazi, the governor of Homs province, said the US strikes were meant to “support the armed terrorists on the ground.”

PressTV also reports that Putin believes US Attack on Syria is contrary to international law, has damaged US/Russian Relations and was done on a made-up pretext to divert attention from rising numbers of civilian casualties in Iraq.  Press TV also reports Russia will ask for an emergency session of the UNSC.

Two must watch videos, again from Seemorerocks.  One by Alex Jones who soberly reflects on how Trump, who he has supported, seems to be disastrously courting WWIII.  The other with Syrian Girl.  This last video is excellent in giving the deep state background of the current crisis.  Syrian Girl is a truly amazing Syrian patriot who also has a deep understanding of Syrian AND American politics.  Towards the midway point in the interview, Syrian Girl makes the important point that one of the objectives of the planned balkanization of Syria is to "ethnically cleanse" the north of its Christian population....to be replaced by Kurds.  Kurds presently are a minority of 40% but hope to ethnically cleanse the Christians out of this second oldest Christian country in the world...which makes the video at the top of this post all the more appropriate.

Syria: U.S. Creates New Air Support Request Scheme For Al-Qaeda
Moon of Alabama notes the irony of the US sending tomahawk missiles to support former enemy al Qaeda...the so-called 9/11 terrorist group.  Don't expect the American sheeple to pick up on the irony, however....they're being "shocked and awed" non stop by the M$M...which is stressing how "strong" Trump is for remotely ambushing and killing some innocent soldiers protecting their country.

US Missiles Strike Syrian Forces Fighting Al Qaeda
Tony Cartalucci also makes the "ironic" point about the US supporting al Qaeda in his analysis on the Land Destroyer blog.

[Ed.: This https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_e3wADQ7IXw is via WhatReallyHappened.com. There are a lot of quotes about not having yet begun to fight, it ain’t over until the fat lady sings, etc. They have more money and more power, but re-double your effort, put more creative thought into the pot, ask for help from whatever your source of strength, power and inspiration, and get a good night’s sleep. We'll need everyone on deck tomorrow.]

Thanks, Ed(itor)...it is Americans like you who give the world hope...what little hope there is left. Now is the time for good Americans to speak out and lead the way out of the hellhole.
