Reflections on my 900th Post - Yemen and Freedom of Speech in the Crosshairs

Thousands of Yemenis Celebrate
Anniversary of Sanaas Takeover

This post marks my 900th entry on this Blog. It's all gone by in a blur.  Since retiring from full time employment in July of 2013, my time has been split between becoming a blogger on geopolitical issues and an "artist" specializing in wood carving and crafts. One activity supports and is an outlet for the other.  When tracking the downward spiral of geopolitics becomes too overwhelming I can always seek relief in the peaceful creativity of woodcarving and/or craft making. Some might believe the "artsy craftsy" sideline is a waste of time but it would be difficult to function without having an outlet for this side of my nature.

Blogging is really about the art of writing which is equally creative.  Being the webmaster of greencrowasthecrowflies also takes me all over the world, virtually-speaking. IMO, it's the equivalent of working on a masters degree in political science.  Some on-line universities [such as my alma mater The University of Victoria] should consider granting university credits based on successful blogging.  Just like some universities grant credits for field work or long term employment in certain industries.  Hey!  What a concept!

Today, for example, I've already spent about two hours researching what's going on in the far away middle eastern nation of Yemen.  I was sparked by the amazing photo of a massive rally in the Capital City of Yemen--Sanaa that I saw on the Almasdar website.  Here's the accompanying report:

BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:10 P.M.) – Thousands of Houthi supporters gathered in Sanaa, Thursday, to celebrate the third anniversary of the take-over of Sanaa from government forces. Holding banners with slogans such as “the 31 September Revolution is 100% Yemeni,” protesters chanted and waved Yemeni flags.

Director of the Office of Mr. Abdul Malik Al Houthi said that “We have seen what has been achieved for the people through cohesion and strength in the face of the enemies ,through presence, fortitude and resistance to aggression, which is now approaching three years.”

“Now we have a missile force that can reach the countries of aggression,” he followed.

Yemen continues to be in the midst of a long civil war, as the Saudi-led coalition fights on behalf of the internationally recognised government against the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels."

Map of Yemen showing Capital City
Sanaa in Left Interior Coast

One glance at the map of Yemen explains why it has become the latest victim of the neocon, globalist Ziofascist attempt to achieve and control World Hegemony.  Yemen is located in one of those few "chokehold" locations, at the entrance to the Red Sea, where ocean-going traffic [gas and oil] and commerce can be strangled and/or controlled.

Alternative investigative journalist Vanessa Beeley recently gave an interview on the situation in Yemen to's Patrick Henningsen.  You can listen to it at the previous link.  From what I've discovered from my morning's research, Yemen, just like Syria, has been aided in its war to defend itself from its Saudi Arabia neighbours by Iran.  Both nations, Iran and Yemen, have a majority shite population who refuse to knuckle under to the Saudi Wahhabi regime and/or its Western allies, including Israel.  As Putin would say...."They'd rather eat grass." Yemen, for such a tiny nation, has put up an incredible fight and, as you can see from the astounding photo at the head of this post, is still capable of rallying tremendous popular support for the war--which has had terrible costs for the Yemenis, particularly in the poorer southern part of the country.  Can you imagine what would happen if the same number of Americans rose up to demonstrate against the occupying Ziofascist perps who've been controlling their country since at least 9/11?  There would be tanks and storm troopers in the streets--and the smell of teargas hanging thick in the air.  It simply would not be allowed.  Sadly and ironically, you have to leave the North American continent to find this level of democracy (the exercise of will of the people) these days.

Even when there are huge gatherings of humanity demonstrating in North America...remember the huge demonstrations in Mexico City over the fraudulent elections a decade or so ago?  They have absolutely no impact on the neocon, bankster stranglehold.  They simply IGNORE them.  Since the perps control the North American's like the demonstration never happened.  Just like, if you only read and watched the M$M, you would never know the above incredible public display of support ever happened in Sanaa.

Speaking about democracy in the public media, I saw this sad but entirely predictable headline on this mornings alternate news site Aletho news:

RT may soon be dropped by US providers, courtesy of McCain & Graham

RT | September 21, 2017

Buried deep inside the just-passed defense budget is a small amendment, which could lead to a ban on broadcasting RT in America. The architects of the provision, Senators Graham and McCain, may recall that in their youth such practices formed what was known as the ‘Iron Curtain’.

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the fiscal year 2018, which was passed by the US Senate earlier this week, is stuffed with provisions that have little to do with US national defense. This is a tactic that US lawmakers have traditionally used to ‘piggy-back’ legislation which would have little hope of adoption as a stand-alone bill.

Deep down the list of amendments is No 1096, which aims to “prohibit multichannel video programming distributors from being required to carry certain video content that is owned or controlled by the Government of the Russian Federation”.

Proposed by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) and co-sponsored by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-Rhode Island), the amendment was submitted by John McCain (R-Arizona), a fellow foreign policy hawk. The provision says a distributor working in a US jurisdiction “may not be directly or indirectly required” to carry video content that is “is owned, controlled, or financed (in whole or in part) by the Government of the Russian Federation.”

In plain English then, any contract RT currently has or will have with American cable and satellite networks to carry its programming will no longer be protected by US federal law after this amendment is signed into law by President Donald Trump. The channel’s current arrangements with carriers made it illegal for them to arbitrarily drop RT’s programming (unless the content shown was obscene) but now they will apparently be able to discriminate against it should they so wish.

The discussion on how the US could insulate its population from RT was sparked by a declassified US intelligence community report on alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, which put this channel in the spotlight. The report asserted that RT was a primary tool of such interference, done through critical reporting on US foreign policy and domestic problems. Despite the report containing factual errors and no evidence, it was taken at face value by many US media outlets and politicians.

“There is an obsession on Capitol hill and in the mainstream media with RT, because RT is effective and because RT is watched. But also because RT carries perspectives that are not available on the mainstream media,” commented Daniel McAdams, Executive Director for the Ron Paul Institute.

“The fact of the matter is that John McCain and Lindsey Graham, the people behind this amendment, the Atlantic Council and the others that are trying to silence RT – they are the totalitarians, they are the enemies of free speech, the enemies of the First Amendment.”

The move seems to resemble the strategy of the Soviet government, which strictly controlled domestic media and suppressed radio broadcasts from Europe to insulate the population of the country from ideas and narratives it deemed unfit. The censorship system, dubbed the “Iron Curtain”, backfired and became a major factor in eroding the Communist Party’s control, for the simple reason that people perceived media sources which the government tried to silence as more trustworthy than those it allowed."

Along with the attacks on the US diplomatic properties of the Russians...we knew there was going to be a concurrent effort to get rid of the highly successful media news source, RT.  When you're stridently and fanatically spewing 24/7 non-stop lies that are stinking up the airwaves and being shunned by more and more simply can't allow the sheeple any alternative news sources to turn to access "the other side" of the stories.

IMO, this censorship by the perps is an indication of sheer desperation and a "loser" reaction to the plunge in ratings.  Can't compete anymore?  Well, just eradicate the opposition.   Fortunately, at least 37% of humanity is hard-wired to seek the truth. This calculated plunge into intellectual darkness will fail, just like all their other recent military hegemonic in Syria and Yemen and Venezuela etc., etc.

Most viewers of RT never watch it on the TV anyway.  They get it through the Internet.  Comparing RT with the Western Legacy M$M is like comparing Grade AAA steak with canned Spam.  Once you've enjoyed one, you cannot stomach the other.  I can't see how they will eliminate RT from the Internet--although I'm sure they will try.  They might outlaw clicking on the RT URL...and send their storm troopers to your door if their NSA catches you clicking on it.  Now wouldn't that be something? A whole bunch of old people arrested while sitting at their computers in their own home offices, dressed in their pajamas.  Beam me UP SCOTTIE!

Trumps Speech Just Latest Effort in Covert US Strategy to Destroy United Nations

United Nations General Assembly at U.N. headquarters,

From the Business

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that she "would certainly not read anything" into photos of White House Chief of Staff John Kelly looking distressed during President Donald Trump's speech at the United Nations on Tuesday.

Kelly, who is known to be a strict disciplinarian, was photographed with his hand on his forehead and looking at the ground during the fiery speech, in which Trump called the North Korean leader "rocket man" and said he was on "a suicide mission." He also said that if the rogue nation does not dial back its nuclear program, the US would "have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea," a country of 25 million people."

You really have to wonder about the "Trump Administration".  Did White House Chief of Staff John Kelly not get the memo?  Does he not know what the longstanding USrael agenda is for the United Nations?  Does he not know that the perps who occupy the control tower of the US government have had it in for the United Nations for at least two Administrations?

I have been saying for more than a year now that the United States wants the United Nations to collapse into disarray...just like their targeted countries (Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan...and Syria...which avoided that destiny, so far).  Several years ago, I started to say that there was a covert civil war going on in the bowels of the US government.  So far as I could see in the blogosphere, nobody else saw the signs of this internecine war.  Then just last year everybody saw it.  Perhaps this is the same thing. Nobody is seeing the overall "big picture" of the USrael's goal to destroy the official arbiter of Internation Law.  It is not "rocket science" to understand why.  Once International Law is destroyed it is going to be a chaotic free-for-all, where the laws of the jungle apply and the US...with its overwhelming military force is expected to prevail.

So, in that light, Trump's speech to the United Nations General Assembly makes absolute sense.  Along with the recent appointments of insane harridan witches to the position of US Ambassador to the UN (Power and Haley) the atrocious Trump speech is the equivalent of a carefully timed car bomb set off in the General Assembly Hall.

Here is a report from CNN (accompanied by photos) of the various delegation's reactions to the stupid, bully-in-the-school yard, grade five level Trump speech:

(CNN)As President Donald Trump took the world stage Tuesday at the United Nations General Assembly to deliver a speech, world leaders were stoic and quiet, barely reacting to his remarks about their countries. It was the first time Trump spoke to UN leaders as President.
In his 41-minute address, Trump vowed to "totally destroy North Korea" if the US and its allies were forced defend themselves.

North Korea UN Seats were empty
"Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime," Trump said. "The United States is ready, willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. That's what the United Nations is all about; that's what the United Nations is for. Let's see how they do."
Television cameras panned briefly to members representing North Korea, but the two seats were vacant.

Iranian Delegation Listens to Trump Speech
Trump then took on the Iranian government, saying it was "a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy." As the US President railed against the country's leadership, televisions cameras filmed as a member of Iranian delegation fiddled with a cellphone, then slipped on eyeglasses. The delegate listened intently and focused on Trump as he described the Iran deal: "the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into."
The delegate's reaction was shared by other members.

Venezuelan Delegation Listens to Trump Speech
Members of the Venezuelan delegation sat with their arms crossed as Trump described the country's leadership, under President Nicolás Maduro, as a "corrupt regime" that has "destroyed a prosperous nation by ideology that has produced poverty and misery everywhere it has been tried."

Israeli Delegation Listens to Trump Speech
Following the speech, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted that he had never heard a "bolder or more courageous speech" in his time at the UN."

I  must confess I didn't watch Trump's speech myself.  I swore off watching him speak ever since he bombed Syria as an after dinner "entertainment" for his Mar-a-Lago guests.  I did watch Turkish President Erdogan's speech, however.  I thought it was good.  Delivered with the appropriate respect for the listeners and gravitas for the setting and occasion.  Erdogan obviously values this International Forum.

    Erdogan Listens to Trump Speech

I would be interested to know what was going through Erdogan's mind as he was listening to Trump's speech in the photo above.  I'm sure it was something like:  "I wonder if there's something wrong with the English-to-Turkish translator...I can't believe I'm hearing this!"

Russian Delegation Listens to Trump Speech

Russian Federation Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, ever the consummate diplomat, later described the speech as "remarkable".  Yes indeedy.  Remarkable it certainly was.  So is a fart in a crowded elevator.  But, as I say, when you look at the overall goal of the USrael was a highly successful speech.

Here is the response to Trump's speech from an average (except for the fact that he's intelligent and articulate) American.  I have copied a snippet from Stephen Lendman's latest post:

.....The US public is deplorably ignorant and indifferent to the diabolical agenda of the nation’s leadership – the same under both right wings of its duopoly government, hellbent to rule the world, most Americans none the wiser, brainwashed by political and television talking heads.

During the Cold War years, Washington got along with Soviet Russia, even if uneasily at times. Nixon went to China. Today relations with both countries are more dismal and dangerous than any previous time, possible nuclear war ominously real by accident or US design.

In my 9th decade, I may never live long enough to witness how things turn out. Will America be consumed by its arrogance and hubris? Is catastrophic nuclear war inevitable? Will humanity survive or perish?

Current US leadership is megalomaniacal. Bipartisan congressional hawks overwhelm cooler heads. Was evolutionary development over countless millennia all for naught? Is humanity doomed because of America’s diabolical rage for unlimited wealth and unchallenged dominance? Does mass annihilation await us all?

Today’s deplorable state should scare everyone. The only solution is popular revolution. Nothing else can work.

Elections are farcical when held, a waste of time, always turning out the same way, monied interests and warmakers winning every time, never peace, equity and justice advocates. The road to hell is paved with ill-intentions, the sinister ones America’s ruling class pursues. If things don’t change, we’re all doomed."

Lendman has arrived at the same conclusion that I reached after hearing about the "substance" of Trump's speech.  It is, amongst other atrocities, the final indication that the "Democractic Republic" is beyond saving.  America is lost.  As Lendman summarizes:

Today’s deplorable state should scare everyone. The only solution is popular revolution. Nothing else can work.

This is not to say that Americans chose the wrong candidate in the last (s)election.  I believe Hillary would have been exponentially worse than Trump.  At least Trump has been so ham-handed that he has divided the perp-infested government into a state of virtual paralysis.

The only solution for the United States IS revolution...but if any brave patriots were to even start talking about such a remedy...they would be infested and sabotaged in a heartbeat by the Soros that's dead end.

With regard to the United Nations.  It may come to doing what I've long been suggesting...remove it from the United States and set it up on an island somewhere.  Somewhere where no one country has a proprietary sense of entitlement.  The United Nations, as the repository of International Law, may have to eventually consider the unthinkable--going it alone without the rogue United States.

    Hurricane Maria 3 hours ago
Hurricanes Maria and Joseby Stephen Lendman ( – Home – Stephen Lendman)

On Tuesday, Maria was elevated to Category 5. Meteorologist Eric Holthaus called it “one of the fastest intensifying hurricanes in history with maximum sustained winds of 160 MPH.”

Jose is minor by comparison, forecast to remain off the US northeast coast. At most “(m)inor to moderate coastal flooding is possible from Delaware to southern New England during the next several days,” according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), its maximum sustained winds at around 75 MPH.

Maria is hugely dangerous, the strongest ever storm to hit Dominica, devastating the island, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit saying:

“So far we have lost all what money can buy and replace. My greatest fear for the morning is that we will wake to news of serious physical injury and possible deaths as a result of likely landslides triggered by persistent rains

“(W)inds have swept away the roofs of almost every person I have spoken to or otherwise made contact with. The roof to my own official residence was among the first to go and this apparently triggered an avalanche of torn away roofs in the city and the countryside.”

“The winds are merciless, (causing) mind-boggling” devastation. “We shall survive by the grace of God…Rough! Rough! Rough!,” he added.

According to the NHC, areas likely to be affected include Guadeloupe, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, US and British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques.

It’s too soon to know if and where it may strike the US mainland. Affected areas face “life-threatening storm surge (conditions), accompanied by large and destructive waves, (creating hugely dangerous) flash floods and mudslides from heavy rainfall,” according to the NHC.

Maria is expected to remain at Category 4 or 5 strength as it approaches the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Its eye passed directly over Dominica.

Puerto Rico’s public safety commissioner Hector Pesquera warned residents “(y)ou have to evacuate” to a safe shelter before Wednesday when Maria is expected to make landfall. “Otherwise, you’re going to die. I don’t know how to make this any clearer.”

It’s developing a “pinhole eye,” indicating a very intense, compact, devastating storm, Puerto Rico directly in its path.

Hurricane researcher Brian McNoldy explained this phenomenon means a strong hurricane will get stronger. He compared it to an ice skater, spinning increasingly faster. “You just don’t see those in weaker hurricanes,” he said.

Maria is expected to bring up to 15 inches of rain across affected areas. On Tuesday, US Virgin Islands Governor Kenneth Mapp warned of “a very, very long night” ahead.

The Atlantic hurricane season averages 12 storms annually. This year it’s been 13 so far. For the first time on record, two Category 4 storms struck the continental US in the same year – three if Maria hits the east coast at current strength, possibly based on its current trajectory.

Hurricane Harvey produced nearly 52 inches of rain in Cedar Bayou, TX, the most ever recorded in America from a major storm – 48 inches the old record from tropical storm Claudette in 1979. Hawaii’s record rainfall was 52 inches.

Astonishingly, Hurricane Irma generated more Accumulated Cyclone Energy than any previous major Atlantic storm on record – more than this year’s first eight storms combined, including Hurricane Harvey.

A few weeks remain in this year’s hurricane season. Meteorologists expect them to be less active than what’s gone on so far – after Maria and Jose dissipate

Israeli Prime Minister to Meet with Trump

Netanyahu Is Meeting Trump To Push For War With Iran

Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with Donald Trump at the White House and push the U.S. to withdraw from the nuclear accord with Iran. Netanyahu will present an argument that Trump already has come to accept: America’s adherence to the nuclear deal cannot solely depend on Iran’s compliance with the agreement, but also whether Iran’s other policies challenge US national interests. It’s a more honest argument compared to the slogans Netanyahu has used in the past. But it is also a line that fundamentally contradicts Netanyahu’s central message of the past decades: That Iran’s nuclear program constitutes an existential threat to Israel.

The Trump administration has desperately sought a pretext to quit the nuclear deal and shed the limits the deal imposed on the US’s ability to pursue aggressive policies against Iran – even if it also sheds the limits the deal imposed on Iran’s nuclear activities. The latest idea is to use the Congressional certification – due every 90 days – where the president has to report to Congress on whether Iran is complying with the deal or not. But unlike the reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency – who is tasked to oversee the implementation of the nuclear deal – the president’s report to Congress goes beyond the nuclear issue: Trump must also report whether the suspension of sanctions against Iran is “appropriate and proportionate to the measures taken by Iran and vital to US national security interests.”

Syria Update - Assad's victories are on behalf of ALL small, militarily vulnerable countries - Like Canada!

10 Illegal US Military Bases in Northern Syrian
    Territory--And WHAD YOU GONNA DO
    ABOUD IT!!!???

Truth Blogger Scott Creighton has posted an excellent summary and analysis this morning on what is going on currently in Syria with the covetous Ziofascist Deep State jockeying for war by any means necessary to staunch the flow of their losing battle to steal Syrian land for the Yinon Project in northern Syria and neighbouring Iraq.

Creighton says there's a connection between the very recent revival in the Legacy M$M during the last day or so of the attempt to convince Americans that Russia had something to do with Hillary's loss of the last US Federal Election.  This shabby and shop worn lie, surrounding the wiretapping of Trump aid Paul Manafort, Creighton contends, is being resurrected in order to provide a causa's belli to attack the Russians directly when they cross into north eastern Syrian land--currently under the control of the illegal US military bases in northern Syria (see Map above).

So, if I understand this correctly, the Ziofascists are trying to set up a WWIII level confrontation between the Yanks and the Rooskies--based on the lie that the Russians interfered in the last US election.  While it's not as dramatic as Pearl Harbour or the Gulf of Tonkin...I guess it will have to do at this late stage in the losing game...when the Syrians and their Russian Allies have already crossed the Euphrates River and are beginning to clean up the proxy terrorist lairs in the small Syrian communities and to close in on the illegal US bases.

Victorious Syrian President Bashar al Assad has made it clear that he intends to re-capture every square inch of Syrian land from foreign occupation.  So far, he has been stunningly successful...who knows, if he manages to kick the US interlopers out of their 10 bases in the north--which they're holding on behalf of the Israeli proxy Kurds, then he might even march back west and retrieve the StolenGolan Heights!  This would be a death blow to the Deep State Ziofascist War Mongers and a huge win for the rule of International Law!

Russia has been scrupulous in adhering to International Law throughout its dealings with the Syrian War.  Here's a snippet from Stephen Lendman's recent post on the latest accusation by the West that Russia bombed "coalition" fighters last weekend:

Russia Refutes US Accusation About Bombing Coalition Forces
    by Stephen Lendman

......Comprised of anti-government terrorists, they should be targeted, involved in massacring residents of Raqqa and other areas where they’re rampaging. Russia should target all terrorist forces in Syria, elements unwilling to cease trying to topple Assad’s legitimate government. Dealing with US and Turkish invaders is a separate issue for later.

A statement by US forces operating illegally in Syria lied, claiming:

“At approximately 12:30 a.m. GMT Sept. 16, Russian forces struck a target east of the Euphrates River in Syria near (Deir Ezzor), causing injuries to Coalition partner forces.”
“Several (US-supported terrorist) fighters were wounded and received medical care as a result of the strike.”

On Sunday, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman General Igor Konashenkov categorically denied the accusation, saying:
“To avoid unnecessary escalation, the command of the Russian forces in Syria gave the US (forces) an advance notice, through an existing communications channel, on the borders within which the military operation in (Deir Ezzor) would be conducted.” “The priority targets for destruction are the (ISIS) firing positions from which they are leading large-scale attacks on the Syrian forces.”

If coalition terrorists are in ISIS-controlled areas, [see Map above] it’s further proof of US support for this scourge. On Sunday, Syrian forces liberated Jafrah, a strategic town northeast of Deir Ezzor’s military airport, improving its security, controlling areas surrounding it, closing off ISIS’ land-based exits from the city, the Euphrates River their only option.

Continued progress by government and allied forces in Deir Ezzor heads steadily to war eliminating ISIS in and around the city, a major triumph once accomplished, its last stronghold in the country liberated. As US-supported SDF terrorists advance on the city, clashes with government and allied forces could follow.

Assad vowed to liberate Syria entirely. Washington has other ideas, wanting control over as much Syrian territory as it can grab.

On Sunday, Assad said some Western countries continue supporting anti-government territories – meaning America and its rogue allies, NATO and regional ones. On Friday, “political prostitute” Nikki Haley said Washington won’t accept Syria under Assad’s leadership.

Regime change remains US policy – conflict resolution cooperation with Russia pure fantasy."

I find it personally infuriating how stupid my fellow North American/Canadian countrymen are to think that this war is not being fought against THEM/US.  The most elementary concept of law escapes brainwashed they are!

If the law does not apply to EVERYONE EQUALLY then it does not apply to anyone!  If it is permissible to steal the property of anyone on the face of this planet...then it is permissible to steal the property of EVERYONE!

In the absence of the Rule of Law...the law of the jungle prevails...nature abhors a vacuum.

Canada...with its enormous riches and geography is probably the most dependent on the Rule of International Law--as it has been painstakingly developed over centuries and is currently embodied in the CHARTER OF THE UNITED NATIONS.  Since the end of WWII, when Canada had a reasonable military and navy and one of the largest merchant marines in the world...Canada has been methodically stripped of all military, economic and democratic power.  We are like a newborn baby...ready to be snatched from the cradle by the predatory wolves.  The only thing that currently protects Canada is the diaphanous and tangential blanket of international law...under which we lie squealing and naked.  If that's ripped away...or willfully kicked off as is going on now by the stupid Canadian "leadership" and ignorant citizenry...then Canada will be killed...swallowed whole by the Snake Eating Snake.

We owe Russia's Putin and Syria's Assad, two of the bravest and greatest warriors the world has ever known, an enormous debt of gratitude.  If they prevail and it looks increasingly like they Just Might....then Canada has also been saved.  International Law is the prize that's being fought over, folks. But Canadians and North Americans--and the West as a whole--are just too stupid to see it.

    CawRANT Events #54

    CawRANT Events #54

Good Morning Everyone! and welcome to my bi-weekly feature called CawRANT Events.  This is when I get to ramble on and not have to stop and link (i.e., support) everything I say...but I usually do because it's a compulsion I have.  There's a lot on the agenda this morning, so let's get started...

Yesterday we had a heavy rain system go through the Vancouver area and that was the most rain we've had in over three months.  Hopefully the drought is finally over and with it, the forest fire situation in the Pacific North West. The return to more typical Fall temperatures and precipitation is good for another reason.  It will no doubt end the unprecedented numbers of homeless men living in our urban parks.  Yesterday, I shot this video during a walk I took along a local trail which is, incidentally part of the Trans Canada Trails. These heritage trails wind their way through our community and their trees shelter the salmon as they return from the Pacific to spawn in the rivers and streams at the foothills of the local mountains.  Please view the following video and I will have more comments after readers have a chance to see what I saw.

    Homeless Man Sets up Camp
In Urban Park by Salmon Stream

Because I have to walk my three small dogs every day...I get an ongoing opportunity to view, at close range, the deteriorating and escalating situation with the homeless men camping out in our tiny urban green belts that protect the salmon streams.  I get to recognize who they are--two or three very energetic young men who are probably afflicted with OCD hoarding disorder, combined with drug addiction and anti-social personalities. They mostly sleep during the day and in the cover of darkness they go about digging through trash and the stuff left outside the local "Value Village".

People come and drop stuff off in the parking lot next to the Value Village which is located right across from this trail.  The men go and pick through the stuff at night and drag it back to their lair.  They probably think about selling it for drugs but, if they aren't successful...the stuff just keeps piling up in the forest.  Finally, after six weeks or so, they inevitably get "busted".  I don't know exactly how that goes down but after the situation goes on for a month or two...suddenly it is all gone.  The campsite is totally cleaned up and the homeless man just goes a few blocks away and sets up another camp.  Then a month or two later, they're back at the original site.  It is always men who do this...I've never seen a woman involved.  That's one of the reasons why I always joke (but actually believe) that women should pay a lower tax rate than men.  Think about the drain on the Parks and Recreation Department in time, money and personnel to continually chase these men around and clean up after them.  And also, 90% of all prison inmates are men.  There's no doubt that men are far more expensive for government to support and therefore should pay way more taxes.  But, whenever I voice this opinion to my husband...he says "But all those men were raised by mothers...who are it is really "the fault of the women".

This reminds me of a funny, but true, story an East Indian man I worked for years ago told me.  He and his American Caucasian wife were travelling through the Middle East and were stopped at a border crossing.  The Border Crossing guard took their passports and was examining them. Then he looked up at them as they were sitting in their car.  He looked from one to the other and then asked the man:  "Do you have any children?".  The man answered "No".  The Border Guard suddenly became embarrassed and flustered and handed them back the passports...mumbling "It's the fault of the woman."  The implication being that he had asked a culturally embarrassing question and was trying to assuage the husband's ego--by blaming the "lack of fertility" on "the woman".  But, I digress.

Back to wrapping up the topic of the epidemic of homeless men messing up our forests.  Probably, as a former social worker, I should have more empathy with the plight of the young, healthy men who lie around in lean-too's all day and scavenge for drugs and hoarding materials at night.  Well, unfortunately, my past work as a child protection social worker made me even more cynical about them.  You see, I met men like these all the time because, unfortunately, they also father children.  Generally, they have a delusional sense of entitlement and an anti-social chip on their shoulder.  They also spend any welfare money (or handouts--because they also work as "squeegee beggars") on drugs.  Their girlfriends are invariably also drug addicts and take drugs while they're pregnant.  Then they disappear shortly after giving birth (thankfully) and sometimes carry on to second and third pregnancies.  So, I don't have a lot of patience with these members of our society.  Sad to say, they need "tough love".  And, yes, a lot of irreversible damage was done in their very early years being raised as "throw away" kids by single mothers.

But, thankfully, I now move on to a more positive topic...and it's actually a solution of sorts:

Mother Russia Wants Her Children Back

I've written before about Vladimir Putin's offer to give free land to Russians or immigrants with Russian ancestry (which would include Khazarians).  Here is another article from RT about this program:

Putin proposes free land gifts to foreign citizens with Russian background

The Russian president has proposed expanding a state program of free land handover to foreign citizens with ancestors born on Russian territory, noting that successful candidates should have a desire to work and create strong families.
It is necessary to expand the opportunities presented by this program to our compatriots who arrive in the Far East from foreign countries,” Vladimir Putin said as he opened the session of the State Council Presidium in Vladivostok on Wednesday.
Compatriots living abroad” is an expression used by the Russian mass media to describe people of Russian culture and – usually ethnicity, many of whom stayed in the ex-Soviet republics after the USSR collapsed in 1992. Russian law allows for a simplified naturalization and some other benefits for this group of people, which includes descendants of those born within the present-day borders of Russia.
Putin also emphasized that those who arrive from abroad to settle in Russia usually come with a desire to work and create strong families, which made them good candidates for getting free land plots and being entitled to additional support from the state.
The president also urged regional authorities in the Russian Far East to analyze the mistakes committed at the primary stages of implementation of the handout program and make all necessary adjustments to facilitate the process.
The government and regional authorities need to render financial help to them [settlers who participated in the free land handover program], help them to create regional infrastructure. I also propose to give larger plots of land to those who are successfully working and have already registered the one-hectare plots as their property,” Putin told the State Council members.
In May 2016 Russia introduced a law introducing the free handover of land in the Far Eastern regions to those who want to build homes or start businesses in agriculture or tourism. The sponsors of the bill have said that they hope to attract more people to the Far East Federal District, to slow or stop the outward migration of locals and to boost the socio-economic development of the territory.
The actual start of the program fell on February 1, 2017.
The law provides for the free handover of 1 hectare (about 2.5 acres) of land to anyone who applies for the program. However, foreign citizens will only be allowed to utilize the land, not own it outright. Registration of full property rights is only possible after the naturalization of potential owners. The land can be used for any lawful purpose, though the new owners cannot rent, sell, or give it away for five years, after which they can obtain full property rights under condition that they manage to develop the land plot in some way.
In early 2017 the governor of the Far Eastern region of Kamchatka, Vladimir Ilyukhin, told reporters that over 48,000 people had submitted applications for taking part in the program. “The geography is wide: Moscow, Moscow Region, Lipetsk region, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, practically all of central Russia wants land in Kamchatka. It makes me happy. Those who want land here will get it,” he said.
About 28 percent of Russians interested in the program say they want to use the land to build a home. About 17 percent want to use the land for agriculture or raising cattle. Another seven percent say they will use the land to build hotels and develop local tourism.
According to the official land register, Russia currently has about 198 million hectares of agricultural land, of which at least 28 million is state-owned and unused."

I envy the young people and families who would qualify for this land gift.  This is what I would do if I were in their position.  I would move to Russia and take advantage of this tremendous bring up my children in a land where they would be truly educated and not just brain-washed, as mine were.  I always thought that I missed my calling as a pioneer.  Ever since my 20's, I've been telling people that I would have preferred to live on a remote farm, totally self-sufficient. Growing my own fruit and canning it.  Storing vegetables in a root cellar and making my own candles.  I would be good at it because I thrive on all arts and crafts.

This is how humans were meant to live, to eak out their living from the land, and from teamwork with other pioneers.  Not sitting around with their IPhones and working at jobs like making/selling fast food which is packaged in wrappers--that the buyers then toss into the bushes and trails.

This is also, IMO, a calling to the Khazarians as a Plan "B" for them to go to when they're finally fed up with their failed Yinon Plan in the Middle East.  There's so much land in Siberia that it will be hundreds of years (hopefully) before they start their inevitable cycle of anti-social behavior which has got them kicked out of one land after another down the ages throughout history.

Speaking of Russia, The Saker had an interesting

post about a well known American fighter jet test pilot who dared attempt to copy Russian pilots by flying a Russian jet that the US military had bought from a third party.  Apparently he was warned against trying the Russian pilots' incredible aeronautic stunts and loop de loops but didn't heed the warnings....with catastrophic (for him) results.

"On September 8th, a pilot was killed in a plane crash at the Groom Lake, the USAF’s secret test base deep in the NTTR also referred as the Nevada Test and Training Range by the Air Force.
Lt. Col. Eric Schultz, 44, died from injuries sustained in an accident in which an aircraft crashed around 6 p.m. local time on Tuesday at the range, located about 100 miles northwest of Nellis Air Force Base, according to a release from the base. At first, the Washington regime tried to silence this crash and the death of the pilot, mostly because it was caught with its pants down secretly flying the Russian aircraft that was allegedly bought from Azerbaijan.
... correspondent Guy Norris wrote late Monday, September 11, that, “Sources indicate Schultz was the Red Hats squadron commander at the time of his death. The Red Hats became an unnumbered unit within the Detachment 3, AFTC test wing after the 413th flight test squadron (formerly 6513th test squadron) was deactivated in 2004. Over recent years the unit has operated a variety of Russian-developed combat types, including the MiG-29 and several Sukhoi-developed models such as the Su-27P, one of which was recently observed flying in the vicinity.”
Magomed Tolboev, a legendary test pilot and an Honorary President of the MAKS international Airshow commented on the accident saying that a month ago, during the MAKS 2017 air show, he had a conversation with Eric Schultz and warned him against trying to try to replicate breathtaking, physics-defying maneuvers performed by the Russian pilots.
I told him, don’t try to do what we do. Just one degree off makes a huge difference.”
Tolboev said that the American and British military pilots are well trained professionals, but there are nuances of the Russian pilots’ technique that the US and UK pilots  cannot master.
“I told him that he will die. You cannot replicate what I do. There is an edge here, (beyond which you cannot advance.)”

Russian Aviation far outstrips the West

Now for a bit of International Newz:

Syria and Iraq don't want "a second Israel" created by stealing their land...DUH!

Ever since the Iraqis, which everyone thought had been thoroughly decimated by the American Invasion of 2003, fought and won their war for their northern oil-rich city of Mosul...which the Israelis thought they had secured by ISIS as a slam dunk...their leaders have been speaking out against the formation of the Ziofascist project of "Independent Kurdistan".  Just recently, we have Shite Iraqi President Nouri al Maliki putting it in no uncertain terms:

"...the Kurdish leadership was suffering from “serious political ineptitude....”

Iraqi Vice President Nouri al-Maliki has denounced a planned Kurdish independence referendum in northern Iraq, warning that Baghdad would not tolerate the establishment of “a second Israel,” after the occupying regime became the only entity to support the so-called plebiscite.
Maliki, who was also Iraq's prime minister from 2006 to 2014, made the remarks in a meeting with US Ambassador to Iraq, Douglas Silliman, in the capital Baghdad on Sunday, adding that the leaders of the semi-autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan must “call off the referendum.”
The so-called independence plebiscite “is contrary to the constitution and does not serve the general interests of the Iraqi people, not even the particular interests of the Kurds,” Maliki said.
His comments came two days after lawmakers of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), in its capital Erbil, approved the September 25 referendum as opposition legislators boycotted the parliament’s first session in two years.
Sixty-five out of the 68 Kurdish lawmakers present in the 111-seat regional parliament held the secession vote in the face of fierce opposition from the central government in Baghdad, the United Nations and the United States.
“We will not allow the creation of a second Israel in the north of Iraq,” Maliki said at the meeting, according to a statement released by the vice president's office, warning that such a vote would have “dangerous consequences for the security, sovereignty and unity of Iraq.” He also urged the Kurdish leaders to come to the negotiating table..."
It appears that all the countries of the Middle East and their allies, including Turkey, Russia and even (officially) the United States are opposed to the creation of an Independent Kurdistan.  There is only one country that is in favour--Israel.  So it would be a good idea to follow this issue closely in the coming weeks as the date of the September 25th Israel-supported Kurdistan referendum approaches.  If, as becomes obvious, there is NO support in the Middle East from the countries (or their allies) to have their land "donated" to the Kurds for a homeland then the possibility of all that free Khazarian land in the Russian hinterland might look even more attractive.

Finally, to end on a very upbeat and lighthearted note...I have completed the last project of my summer craft series.  Today I will go back to my wood carving classes.  I enjoyed getting away from carving this summer and doing a large painting and this Paper Mache Piñata project.  Please see the photos and video below...

Canadian Politics: No One To Vote For - Strategy of Decapitation

Left to right, Ontario MP Charlie Angus,
    Ontario Legislature member Jagmeet Singh,
Quebec MP Guy Caron and Manitoba
MP Niki Ashton are seeking the
leadership of the federal New Democratic Party.

As I said in my previous post about the Leadership crisis in Canadian Politics, it appears that there is a methodical, Machiavellian scheme to deprive Canada of any and all effective political leadership.  Here, I'm referring to leaders who will speak up for Canada--who will represent and be representative of all or most Canadians...who will unify the very multi-cultured society that Canada is--who will espouse policies that Canadians want.  Hellooooooo.

Currently, the Federal government of Liberal Justin Trudeau is nakedly under the control of the neocon Deep State of USrael.  Trudeau proved that with his stunning appointment to the Minister of Foreign Affairs post, Chrystia Freeland, a neo-Nazi supporting proponent of the Kiev Junta and the use of Ukraine as a battering ram against Russia.  The Conservatives are "lead" by another supporter of the neo-Nazi illegal regime in Ukraine, Andrew Scheer,  Both Scheer and Foreign Minister Freeland are banned from entering Russia.  This, despite the last election being fought (and won, or so Canadians thought) on the policy of bettering relationships with Russia and forging our own International Policies independent of the neocon, globalist, war mongering Ziofacists of Usrael.

So, I naively hoped at one point that I could again "park" my vote in the next federal election with the New Democratic Party (NDP).  Leaderless since the last election, it was hoped at the minimum that the new NDP leader would voice policies that spoke for Canada.  At this point in history...during the era of "regime change" and serial pre-emptive destruction of vulnerable resource rich nations...the very survival of Canada as an independent nation is under threat.  In my opinion, Canada is under more threat of destruction as an independent nation than North Korea.  At least North Korea has independent leadership!

Read the following report from this morning's CBC and weep.  I will have more thoughts in comments to follow.

"Jagmeet Singh or not, nothing is ever easy for the NDP

The leadership choice confronting New Democrats might not be perfectly simple

By Aaron Wherry, CBC News Posted: Sep 16, 2017 5:00 AM ET Last Updated: Sep 16, 2017 5:00 AM ET

In the final debate of the campaign to finally replace Tom Mulcair as leader of the NDP there were, perhaps predictably, attempts to quibble with the presumed front-runner. Niki Ashton suggested the 47,000 party members that Jagmeet Singh claims to have signed up — a figure that would account for more than a third of the party's current membership — were from a "handful" of ridings.
Charlie Angus ventured that the money Singh has raised — $356,784 in the second quarter of this year, more than all other candidates combined — was mostly from Brampton, the Toronto suburb that Singh calls home.
The suggestion might have been that Singh's support is deep, but not wide. Angus, who is second in fundraising, also took every opportunity to note that he would be ready to stand up in the House of Commons this fall, a barely disguised challenge to the seat-less Singh, who is a member of the Ontario legislature. The mere presence of Guy Caron on stage might have served as a reminder of another challenge: How would Singh approach Quebec, hallowed home to 16 of the NDP's 44 MPs and a distinct society with a particular history of secularism?

Finally getting to a new leader

Of course, if Singh's candidacy can be quibbled with, questions can also surely be asked of the candidates who have raised less money, attracted fewer supporters or received fewer endorsements from NDP MPs. (Singh, a newcomer to the federal party, leads on the last metric too with eight, followed by Caron with seven, Ashton with five and Angus with two.)
So the choice confronting New Democrats might not be perfectly easy. That much befits a party that is not in an easy spot.
This is not a party that has made it easy on itself.

    NDP leadership coverage

CBC News will have special coverage of the NDP leadership showcase on Sunday, including livestreaming video and a live blog on, and on Facebook, YouTube and CBC News Network. Rosemary Barton hosts coverage of the candidates' speeches starting at 2 p.m. ET.

After the crushing collapse of 2015, New Democrats took six months to decide they were done with Mulcair. It has taken them another year and a half to choose his successor. In the meantime, there has not even been a new interim leader to make things vaguely interesting.
With voting to commence after a final showcase of the candidates on Sunday, the NDP could be a mere two weeks away from choosing the eighth leader in the party's history. In the event of multiple ballots, it will be another three or four weeks. Singh is likely to be leading after the first ballot. But if he falls short of a first-round knockout, things could get tense.

    What the leader will face

Regardless of who it is and when he or she gets here, the NDP's situation will be roughly the same.
While New Democrats will quibble with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's right to call himself a progressive, the next NDP leader will find himself or herself contending with the most left-leaning government since Pierre Trudeau's, or perhaps even Lester B. Pearson's.
Their room to manoeuvre will, to some degree, depend on what gaps and openings the Liberals leave unaddressed. Regardless, there will be the small matter of Quebec — the province that swept the NDP to 103 seats in 2011 and then seemed to precipitate the party's fall in 2015.

    Quebec's distinctiveness

In August, Caron stepped forward with a plan to win the province again. Included was an attempt to finesse the issue of Bill 62, legislation proposed by Quebec's Liberal government that would, among other things, ban the wearing of the niqab by those delivering government services.
Caron's position is that, while he personally believes the state has no business dictating attire, New Democrats should respect the National Assembly's right to make its own decisions, deferring to Quebec's national character and its history of secularism.
Guy Caron, left, and Jagmeet Singh stand together on stage after the final federal NDP leadership debate in Vancouver, B.C. last Sunday. Online voting for the leadership begins Monday. (Darryl Dyck/Canadian Press)
Singh has been less nuanced in his opposition to Bill 62. And one MP, Pierre Nantel, is already suggesting he might depart the caucus if the next NDP leader does not respect Quebec's distinctiveness.
What's more, polling released earlier this year suggested Quebecers were less inclined to support a politician wearing a religious head covering.
In the event of a Singh victory, Quebec would thus be an obvious point of intrigue. In the event of anyone else's victory, it would probably still remain a potential point of friction.

    The intriguing Singh

Singh, of course, has been this campaign's most obvious point of interest. With all due respect to the new suit Angus boasted of buying for the campaign, Singh is the best dressed. He is also the most viral (video of his response to an anti-Muslim heckler making him an Internet star earlier this month). And, in calling for the decriminalization of all drugs, he has shown a willingness to move boldly. But it has also been interesting of late to watch prominent New Democrats align themselves.
Wab Kinew, the 36-year-old Indigenous journalist and activist seeking the leadership of the Manitoba NDP, has gone to Singh. But former MP Libby Davies, a party stalwart, moved to Angus, the former punk-rock bassist who represents a riding in northern Ontario and has distinguished himself as an advocate for Indigenous communities. Brian Topp, a former adviser to Jack Layton and Rachel Notley, has sided with Caron, the soft-spoken economist from Quebec. Joe Comartin, another former MP, has endorsed Ashton, the strident millennial from Manitoba who proudly campaigned for U.S. Democrat Bernie Sanders. Whoever wins might be charged with trying to stitch together all of those candidates' constituencies."

I'm going to come out and say it straight out right now. It appears to me from this vantage point that some "usual suspects" back in Ontario have devised an evil, Machiavellian scheme to deprive Canadians of any and all effective leadership. They have systematically and methodically nullified the Liberal and Conservative leadership.. and now are in the process of turning the NDP leadership race into a very unfunny joke. What with almost all the political and financial support of leading candidate Singh coming from an area of Ontario noted to be populated by strong numbers of "usual suspects", this is where the support of Singh is coming from. Do readers actually think there are huge numbers of Sikhs in Ontario? It's like their support for the "Kurds" in the Middle East. Divide and conquer is the name of the game. And don't accuse me of being racist against Sikhs. I was in a four year relationship with a Sikh when I was in my 20's and learned much about their culture which I continue to admire and respect. It's as a Canadian, worried about my country's future, that I speak out about this topic.
In my last post on this topic, I used the metaphor of the Snake eating the Snake.  Remember, in spite of the commonly believed canard, planted by the perps in the tiny brains of the sheeple....that leadership doesn't count in today's politics [proven to be a lie by Putin and Assad] the snake-eating-snake always goes for the head first.  It always attacks the head of the target snake, crushes it and then proceeds to swallow the paralyzed body.

That is what is happening to Canada.

US threatens to cut China off from using US China quits dollar for Yuan

    US Dollar and Yuan

A lot, if not most, of the geopolitical activity we see in the news these days is covert tit for tat regarding the revolution that is going on in the currency exchange markets around the world.  This revolution is the replacing of the US dollar by the other super powers (China and Russia) with other currencies--in particular the Yuan and the Ruble.

Most of the time, and particularly in the Legacy Main$tream Media, this issue is either ignored, minimized and/or lied about.  This morning RT has a report about the US dollar's impending collapse that is refreshingly candid.  I am reprinting the article below and will have more thoughts in comments to follow:

"Petrodollar end looming as China & allies dump it in oil trading - Jim Rogers
    Published time: 15 Sep, 2017 15:27

Beijing has announced plans to start a crude oil futures contract priced in yuan and convertible into gold. The step might lead to the emergence of a new Asia-based crude oil benchmark to compete with Brent or West Texas Intermediate futures.

RT talked to investing guru and financial commentator Jim Rogers to understand how much of a game changer this could be for an industry dominated by the dollar.
“This is just another step in that direction. Many people do not like using US dollars because if the US gets angry at you, they just set enormous pressure on you that can even get you out of business. China, Russia, and other countries understand this, and they are trying to move world trade and world finance away from that,” said the Jim Rogers.

As China is the world’s biggest crude buyer, the new contract may allow exporters to avoid US sanctions by trading oil in yuan. Such countries as Russia, Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam, China and many other Asian countries are interested in that, according to the expert.
The futures contract will allow participants to pay with gold or to convert yuan into gold without the necessity to keep money in Chinese assets or turn it into US dollars.
“The world has been moving that way. Iran will accept renminbi (yuan) from China now. The world is moving that way. China and Russia have currently swaps in rubles and renminbis. It is happening. But it is happening slowly. It takes a lot of time,” Rogers said.

The investor stressed the shift is not going to happen swiftly.
“In this case, there are so many people that actively want it, I would suspect that in less than ten years you will see a major shift into the trading of oil to Asia,” he said.
“When US dollar replaced the pound sterling, there was no one really going around trying to do it quickly. But now you have major economies: Russia, China, Iran and others – very much want this to happen. So, it will happen faster,” Rogers added.

So, this is the struggle that is at the heart of every single geopolitical event that we're watching...including the false flag bombing in London, England this is all part of intimidation and economic terrorism....better not go ahead with Brexit [weakening of Western Economic dominance] or there will be MORE instability like this!

If all you ever read was the Legacy Main$tream media, you would never know about this financial struggle "to the death" that's going on.  In order to maintain the illusion of impenetrable power, the Rothchild bankers are even pretending that....wait for it....THEY'RE going to CUT THE CHINESE OFF FROM THE DOLLAR! instead of the other way around.  Here is a report, also from RT which proffers just this threat...which is diametrically opposite of the truth.  Again, I have posted the report in its entirety and will have final thoughts in comments to follow:

"US threatens to ‘cut China off’ from dollar if it does not uphold sanctions against N. Korea
    Published time: 12 Sep, 2017 21:45

The US could impose economic sanctions on China if it does not implement the new sanctions regime against North Korea, the US Treasury Secretary has warned. Steven Mnuchin said the restrictions could involve cutting off Beijing’s access to the US financial system.
“North Korea economic warfare works,” Mnuchin said Tuesday at the Delivering Alpha Conference in New York City. “We sent a message that anybody who wanted to trade with North Korea – we would consider them not trading with us.

The Treasury Secretary echoed the words of the US envoy to the UN, Nikki Haley, by calling the fresh round of sanctions against Pyongyang “historic.” Mnuchin added “if China doesn’t follow these sanctions, we will put additional sanctions on them and prevent them from accessing the US and international dollar system.”

Washington has, so far, been reluctant to impose economic sanctions on China over concerns of possible retaliatory measures from Beijing and the potentially catastrophic consequences for the global economy. Washington runs a $350 billion annual trade deficit with Beijing. China also holds $1 trillion in US debt, which amounts to 28 percent of US Treasury bills, notes and bonds held by a foreign government.

US lawmakers, however, seemed to be more inclined to exert pressure on Beijing and other countries striking deals with Pyongyang as they demand a “supercharged” response to North Korea’s nuclear tests, including imposing sanctions on companies from China and any other country doing business in North Korea. “I believe the response from the United States and our allies should be supercharged,” said Ed Royce, chairman of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee during a hearing Tuesday.

“We need to use every ounce of leverage... to put maximum pressure on this rogue regime,” he said, adding that “time is running out.” Royce also called on Washington to target major Chinese banks, including the Agricultural Bank of China and the China Merchants Bank for dealing with Pyongyang.

He also said China was apparently reluctant to follow through on the sanctions adopted by the UN Security Council (UNSC) against the North. “It’s been a long, long time of waiting for China to comply with the sanctions that we pass and, frankly, with the sanctions that the United Nations passed,” he said.

The committee chair went on to say the US could give Chinese banks and companies “a choice between doing business with North Korea or the United States.” He added that the US should also “go after banks and companies in other countries that do business with North Korea the same way.”
Committee members also expressed unease over the fact that the sanctions imposed on North Korea have so far been ineffective in preventing Pyongyang from developing its nuclear and missile programs.

“We’ve been played by the Kims for years,” Republican Representative Ted Poe said, referring to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his predecessors, as reported by Reuters.
President Donald Trump also downplayed the role of the newly adopted sanctions later Tuesday. ”We think it’s just another very small step, not a big deal. I don’t know if it has any impact,” he told reporters at the start of a meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.
Trump also said he already discussed the issue with his State Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. He ominously added that “those sanctions are nothing compared to what ultimately will have to happen” without specifying what he meant by that.

The UNSC unanimously approved a new resolution on sanctions against Pyongyang on September 11. Following a series of behind-the-scenes negotiations Sunday, diplomats agreed not to ban oil exports into North Korea. Instead, the ninth set of restrictive sanctions against Pyongyang authorized an annual cap of 2 million barrels of refined petroleum products to North Korea.
It also banned the North’s textile exports – the second-biggest export for the country, which totals $752 million – according to data from the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency. Chinese and Russian negotiators managed to persuade the US delegation not to impose a travel ban or asset freeze on North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un. On Tuesday, the North Korean ambassador to Moscow said sanctions will not make his country change its policies. Pyongyang’s nuclear program helps it to deter the “hostile policy of the US,” Kim Yong-jae added.

Folks, there's another word for what is going on here.  It's called "blackmail".  As I've said many times on this blog...the perps are "one (or two) trick ponies".  They don't have a lot of strategies to foment their evil on this planet and I can name most of them here:

    Theft, including Identity Theft

There you have it.  But their favourite ploy beyond a doubt is Blackmail.  That is why they deal in drugs, porn and sexual deviation...for their compromise and blackmail opportunities.  It's all about control.  So, in this case they're blackmailing China and Russia that if they don't knuckle under and give up plans of wresting financial independence from the Rothchild Ziofascist Banksters, the perps will cut China and Russia off from the US Dollar BEFORE these countries have all their eggs in a basket and/or failing that, they will start WWIII and impose their previously successful [WWI and WWII]  strategy of "Order out of Chaos".  North Korea is just a patsy.  It was surreptitiously supplied with nuclear materials by the Clintons and the West--with the specific goal of arming it with nuclear weapons so that there could be a [nuclear] war on China's border.  The entire modern history of the Korean peninsula, including the Korean War after WWII has been directed at dividing and conquering Korea with the goal of hemming in China.

The pundit in the first report above says it will take a long time for China to dump the dollar.  I disagree.  I believe it will happen very quickly and the financial repercussions will be enormous...and unpredictable.

The Greencrow Goes Out On A Limb

The Greencrow Goes Out On A Limb

Some readers might think it's a bit pompous to refer to myself in the third person singular (The Greencrow) the Queen,  or like my fellow bird/blogger, "The Saker".  But I've been doing it since the early 2000's long before "The Saker" took the name of a fellow bird. I started doing it as a joke but now it's become a reflection of how the persona of Greencrow has grown over the years and taken on her own attributes...some of which I, as merely the writer, do not possess.  Greencrow is braver than I am.  She says stuff I'm afraid to say even to my own friends and family.  And for good reason.  I've been castigated and shunned for voicing the views that The Greencrow freely expresses.

The Greencrow makes predictions and prognostications that I wouldn't dare to make.  Like the ones that I've been mulling over for a week or more now, about the Canadian political scene.

Canabis Flag outside Toronto City Hall

Trudeau or "Le Dauphin" as The Greencrow calls the Canadian Prime Minister, is working on some legalization of marijuana make Canada the Canabis Capital of the World...I suppose.  It all started years before his birth when his father, Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau married a girl half his age who was a pot head.  She freely spoke of being stoned out of her mind and sitting on a limb in a tree back in the '60's.  I believe it was in Morocco.  Everyone knows that taking pot when you have mental health issues only exacerbates them.  So it was no surprise when Margaret Trudeau developed serious mental health issues in her late 20's and 30's that required hospitalization (on several occasions) and resulted in the dissolution of her marriage.

Still, in spite of this disturbing history, Justin Trudeau is determined to bring marijuana to the masses.  There are many other issues on which he could spend his political capital and the taxpayer's funds...but marijuana it is.  Wonder why?  Well there are a few clues in recent reports about  Israel being behind the push to legalize marijuana and make a killing in profits.  There are also reports about Big Pharma wanting to corner the market.  First, please read the following snippet from a post from "Goon Squad" and then a report from RT and  I will have more thoughts in comments to follow:

Israel wants to get into the cannabis supplier game

"....Until now, Israel's role in this multi-billion dollar field has been limited to R&D. Yet now that the Israeli government has approved the export of medicinal cannabis products, companies there are hoping to gain a larger piece of the market. While importing cannabis into the United States is illegal under federal law, companies can get around that ban by receiving drug approval from the FDA – and that is exactly what Israeli companies hope to do. According to the FDA, nothing is stopping them, as long as they meet the agency's arduous requirements for drug approval.

Yet initiating clinical trials on U.S. soil is difficult to the point of being nearly impossible. So, American companies are increasingly taking a shortcut: beginning phases 1 and 2 of their clinical trials in Israel, after which they will complete phase 3 in the U.S., speeding up the process through which they can apply for FDA approval of the botanical cannabis drugs they are developing.

At least 15 American cannabis companies have set up their entire R&D operations on Israeli soil.

Even the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has funded cannabis research in Israel. Indeed, much of Professor Mechoulam's groundbreaking research was funded by the American government. The NIH provided him with grants to the tune of $100,000 a year for over four decades, says Mechoulam.Congress will be more than happy to give Israel the 'green light' for medical marijuana research. Next step, is to start selling their Kosher approved pot meds in the USA. And as the chart below shows, Americans are doped up on legal prescription drugs, so the amount of $$$ to be made from medical marijuana sales could be astronomical."

    And this report from RT:

"The government of the Canadian state of Ontario has come under fire for its plan to effectively monopolize the recreational cannabis trade by selling it through state-run shops and online. Ontario says it fears the legalization process will result in a thriving black market.
The new measures to prepare the state for the proposed Federal Cannabis Act, were announced at a news conference Friday by the territory’s Attorney General Yasir Naqvi, Finance Minister Charles Sousa and Health Minister Eric Hoskins

At least 80 dispensaries will be opened by July 2019, with a total of 150 state-run stores expected to be operational by 2020 according to the plan. Online shopping will be available as well.
Proponents of the plan argue that having cannabis distributed by the government rather than through private retailers will keep the profit motive out of the equation and will avoid similar problems as those caused by big tobacco and alcohol.
According to the official press release, one of the stated aims of Ontario’s proposal is to squeeze out criminals from the black market, currently run by organizations such as the Hell’s Angels and the Italian Mafia as well as various aboriginal and immigrant street gangs.
"If you operate one of these facilities, consider yourself on notice," Naqvi warned the illegal weed shops that have sprouted up across the province.
However, the scheme that drives out already existing private retailers that operate within the legal field has drawn criticism from Canada’s cannabis activists and businesses.
Jodie Emery, a cannabis legalization activist and human rights advocate, argued on Twitter that the new measures represent a continuing crackdown on private stores, noting that government-controlled supply is unlikely to meet the skyrocketing demand.
“I had 300 inquiries for @CannabisCulture franchises. An enormous supply is needed to feed enormous demand. Gov't monopoly is doomed to fail,” Emery wrote on Twitter."

So, after at least two years of wondering, we now know why Trudeau is pushing least weed.  It's for the "usual suspects'.  But, but, but, spite of all his good looks and cheery demeanour, Trudeau, along with newbie Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer, AND the leaderless NDB, have all been languishing in the Public Opinion Polls.  It seems that the Canadian Public is disenchanted with the entire slate of leaders and parties placed before them by the ruling elite to choose from as Puppet Prime Minister.

Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer was stillborn and/or dead in the water from the start.  As soon as the public found out that...from all the possible conservative candidates to choose from--the Conservatives chose one of the 15 or so Canadians who's banned from travelling to Russia.  The Legacy Main$tream Media proffers any number of other reasons for his flatlining in the polls...but never even whispers that it just might be because he's at a distinct disadvantage diplomatically.  Canadians (and Americans) voted in their previous elections to elect a leader who would forge better relations with Russia....but Nooooooooooooooooooooo.  The Ziofascist Controllers would not allow it.

Then we have the currently leaderless New Democratic Party (NDP), which generally runs third in any Federal election.  Right now they're having a pathetic leadership campaign.  Two unknown male candidates who have had minimal political/legislative experience, one unknown LGTBHXYZ-supporting female who's currently expecting TWINS in November and has had to phone in her campaign appearances.  And, lastly, one unknown male Sikh candidate who has bravely wedged his foot in the political door--in spite of being racially heckled at campaign stops. I don't think Canada is ready for a turbaned Prime Minister.  Come to think of it, even Pakistan and India are not ready for turbaned leaders.  A motley crew, to say the least.

So, now how IS the Greencrow going out on a limb?  I'm saying here and now that there is a deliberate and calculated strategy to strip Canada of any and all strong, legitimate and intelligent political leadership--in preparation for the ever looming North American Union plan.  With absolutely no viable political leadership...either in "power" or waiting in the wings...Canada is vulnerable and defenseless against the coming attack(s), particularly as the United States begins to show the inevitable economic consequences of the world turning away from the Petro Dollar.  This is a warning to Canadians. For us, with absolutely no one to speak up for Canada or's not going to be a war...or even involve any kind of functional self will look (and feel) something like this:

    Snake Eats Snake
