UPDATED: Shocker: Russian RT founder/media oligarch was murdered

UPDATE:  March 12, 2016 According to Fort Russ....the latest theory on the mysterious death of Mikhail Lesin in a Washington DC Hotel Room is that he died while being interrogated by the FBI. This sounds quite plausible. The theory is that the FBI was trying to coerce Lesin to become an informant on Putin and, when he resisted, they attacked him...and he fought back with his head, upper torso and extremities.  CCTV cameras would, of course, solve the entire crime...but we all know how hard it is to get forensic CCTV evidence in the US (See, e.g.,  plane hitting Pentagon on 9/11)

Mikhail Lesin - Founder of Russia Today
discovered bludgeoned to death
in a Washington DC hotel Room

After initially saying that Russian news network RT founder Mikhail Lesin's death in a hotel room in Washington, DC last November 5, 2015, was due to an apparent heart attack. Now forensic evidence has been released by Washington's chief medical examiner that indicates Lesin died as a result of blunt weapon injuries to the head. He also suffered injuries to other parts of his body.  This really makes you wonder about the US justice system.  How could they have hidden this information for so many months...and why?  It makes you wonder whether anything they report is true. The time that has elapsed taints all the evidence they might proffer...because they've had plenty of time to dispose of anything incriminating to anyone:

Four months after the death of former Russian press minister and prominent media figure Mikhail Lesin in a DC hotel, Washington’s chief medical examiner has revealed forensic data indicating that Lesin died of injuries to the head.
While initial reports following Lesin’s death in DC’s Dupont Hotel on November 5, 2015 indicated that a heart attack had been to blame, no conclusive official forensic data has been released until now.

A joint statement by the District of Colombia’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) and Metropolitan Police Department said that the former minister’s death had been a violent one, as cited by RIA Novosti on Thursday.
“The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) has released the cause and manner of death for Mikhail Lesin...Cause of Death: blunt force injuries of the head,” the statement said.
It added that “blunt force injuries of the neck, torso, upper extremities and lower extremities” contributed to the 57-year-old’s death.
Nevertheless, the manner of death was still classified as “undetermined” in the official release.
Lesin’s death is being actively investigated, OCME spokeswoman LaShon Beamon has said.
Meanwhile, Moscow said it is now expecting Washington to explain why Russia has not received any details from the probe into Lesin’s death, despite repeated requests.

In spite of the fact that everyone knows that Mr. Lesin was a close personal friend of Vladimir Putin...the JM$M rumour mill is already working overtime in its usual...and by now very boring... obsession with blaming Putin for everything.

I read on Wayne Madsen's blog not too long ago that Mr. Lesin had traveled to Washington under express orders from the Kremlin to put the Washington Bureau RT back on track....as the Kremlin (which pays for RT) was concerned that it had recently been hiring media hacks....who were, no doubt, going to reduce it's reportage to the low level quality journalism of the JM$M. After reading that...I began to pay more attention to the quality of RT's articles and did find them disturbingly negative about Russia...and wrote a few comments on the RT forums saying as much.

Need I ask...can you just imagine the apoplectic fit Americans would have had if, say, the CEO of CNN or FAUX had been found murdered in a Moscow hotel room????
