Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau sings....just like her Mother-in-law, Maggie did...years ago

Sophie's Song

Here's an exchange I had recently with my fellow Canadian blogger, Northerntruthseeker.  Because he has such an "Iron-Man" rep.... in being able to listen/watch the unlistenable and unwatchable, I asked him to vet the CBC news video of Canada's "First Lady" (actually there is no such official designation in Canada) Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau as she sang at a recent Martin Luther King memorial.  I tried to listen but could not...

Thanks, NTS for your perspective on the Saudi/Yemen conflict. Interesting that the US provided the arms that Yemen is using against Saudis. I would venture a bet, however, that there is surruptitious support coming in from Iran, Russia and other allies of same. It is too much to believe that tiny Yemen could be doing so well all by itself.
On an entirely different topic. you have kind of an "Iron Man" reputation for being able to listen to nauseating things such as, for instance, a Barack Obama speech. Please listen to this:

Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau singing a song she wrote for her daughter
and tell me/us what you think. Worse than Maggie's singing to the Venezuelan first lady decades ago...or what?! I was unable to watch/listen to more than three bars.

Crow.. direct military hardware to Yemen is right now impossible due to the American/British/Saudi control of the Indian Ocean bordering Yemen...
Other aid can only come across the Shatt-al-Bab straits from the horn of Africa....But if it is, it is a trickle....
Reports have shown that the Yemeni forces have been using captured Saudi equipment from their offenses against the Saudis....
Anyways.. I actually listened to that woman howl.. YIKES.... She should definitely not give up her other career for music.... It reminds me of when that suck ass former Prime Minister, Stephen Harperstein went up on stage and sang "Hey Jude" to his Jewish masters....And just as mind melting...

Thanks, Northerntruthseeker....your 'Iron Man" reputation remains intact...if not enhanced.  I'm filing this post under "music"....although that's truly debatable.

On a more serious note...I hate being right all the time.  If readers will return to my early posts, written prior to the election last October....about why I was concerned about Justin as the PM. This is exactly what I was afraid of.  When the real pressures and responsibilities of this role--out in the laser beam of the publie eye, hit....will Sophie cut and run--like Maggie?!  What effect does this kind of behaviour have on a marriage? Who can Justin turn to for calm support and good judgment?  As Yogi Berra said...."It's deja vue all over again".

lol, NTS....Does anyone in the world wonder anymore why Canadians have such a good sense of humoUr? If we didn't laugh we would cry.

I look at it this way... Considering the mess this nation is in economically and we are going to hell in a handbasket, it is good to laugh once in a while... It beats having to cry....

Eh

She did ok at first (this was acapella, after all). But she ended way too much in to herself than focusing on the song.

Hey all:

Between her 'singing' and Justin Trudeau riding bareback on a moose- on a sweatshirt! Those two are showing themselves to be the same kind of attention whores that Maggie was- What an embarrassment for Canada- shakes head

I guess the US gets Donald Trump and we get the the Sophie/Justin duo
Together they make quite a show

Thanks for your comments, B-Man and Penny. You both did better than me....listening to the entire song. I could not listen for more than a few seconds. It was like fingernails on a chalk board. There is a serious side to this. It is a red flag. Sophie is (subconsciously) sabotaging the new lifestyle she has been thrust into, just like Maggie did. This does not bode well for their children. I did not think about Sophie when I warned, prior to the last federal election, that there was emotional instability in the Trudeau family tree. I was thinking about Justin's lineage. But, as they say, a man often chooses a wife who resembles his mother.
